PROPERTY MANAGER IN PROFILE – REBECCA HUGHES

I have 6 years experience in the real estate industry with a background in administration and office management giving me a diverse range of skills. Having no previous real estate experience and very little training I began my career with no choice but to sink or swim in a small, successful, award winning office!

This quickly gave me the confidence and drive to learn all I could about real estate and develop ways to make the office even more successful. I began to implement and streamline all office, sales and property management procedures and processes and let my natural creativity flow to design marketing brochures, window displays, newspaper advertisements and client presentation guides.

My natural willingness to learn coupled with my ability to think outside the box and excellent problem solving skills enabled me to deal with any situation that was thrown my way. Our office started to thrive and began to consistently win many industry awards. My hard work finally paid off in 2009 when I was awarded the coveted “WA Office Administrator of the Year Award” for a prestigious Real Estate Franchise.

To continue my personal growth I studied at nights via correspondence to obtain both my Sales and Property Management Registrations and am now spending my nights studying to become a Principal/Licensee and Real Estate Agent by achieving my Real Estate Licence.

My hard work, diligence and attention to detail are the qualities that promoted me to the role of Business Development Manager with AMG Real Estate to begin a now successful and rapidly growing rental property portfolio with all properties under my management.
